Advance Health Directive
- You give directions about your future health care
- It may be general or specific – e.g. "e;Do not resuscitate under any circumstances"
- Your doctor must certify that you understand the medical terms and are not suffering from any condition which limits your capacity to understand what you are saying
- You can cover special matters, such as religious beliefs, which may affect your health care
- You cannot authorize euthanasia
